These 2 bowls came to me a couple of months ago and I am getting around to working on them.
Both are very old, from 16th. –17th. century, Korean.

Traditional, lacquer based kintsugi, step 6, last polishing of silver #3
This video shows the last polishing of silver #3 on 2 pieces I am finishing for someone who did the substrate lacquer. There is a breakthrough on the first one and second one, probably caused by the application of the red. Short of completely sanding everything off and reapplying the metal there is no way to fix it.
