This video shows application of sabi, jinoko and natural lacquer, as an under coating for metal. The first piece is one I will apply a base of lacquer and then a patterned metal. the second one is a clay vase with the clay being almost like balsalt in having a lot of air pockets in it.

This egg is being repaired using kintsugi by a woman in San Francisco and was started last year, about October, 2016. She has finished reassembling it and will now proceed to the middle and final work.
