Here are photos from the morning of the first day of a 10 day kintsugi workshop I am giving in Nara, Japan. The focus will be on advanced metal working in the afternoon, all the different processes in kintsugi in the morning.

Here is a video I did on Google +. It shows application of e-urushi which is a high quality red and the application of #5 silver. Don’t use neri bengara urushi, a cheaper type that won’t give you good results.
