I am giving a workshop in a couple of weeks and here is a piece I will use for demonstration.
It is a metal figure of a bull that is missing its front left leg. The repair will be a reconstruction using a wooden core with lacquer over it. The figure seems to also have a weld where it looks like the head was reattached with a weld.

Here is a reconstruction of a horn I did during a previous workshop. The figure is a stone water buffalo that was missing its right horn. In this case I just built up the form without a wood core using kokuso and sabi.
